Career Guidance
The college is offering the following UGC sponsored certificate courses. These courses are being conducted in the evening from 4PM TO 6PM after college hours.
Sri Y.N. College has established Career Cell in the year 2005 with the vision of creating awareness among the graduate and post graduate students on career planning. It also develops aptitude and interest in one’s career and also creative thinking and innovative attitude among the student community. It’s ultimate purpose is to make every student self-reliant.
Choosing the right career can be a very daunting task especially in a world which offers an array of paths, all of which seem to be leading a golden goal. Careers can actually make or break one’s life, so it is important to make the right choice. Career Guidance can help the students in pursuing bright courses, and can guide the students in choosing a suitable career.
For careers, a bachelor’s degree will do, but others may require a Masters and even a Ph.D.
1)The Career Guidance and placement programme is designed to enable the students to reach highest potential in the shortest time.
2)The cell has good collection of books in personality development, Career development, competitive examination, CET. examinations, GATE etc,
3) The Cell subscribing 3.English daily news papers, 2.Telugu news papers, 11 magazines.
4)The Cell is maintaining placement brochures and E-mail address of students.
5)The Cell is guiding the students in the preparation of the resumes including E-resume.
6)The Cell is providing information on all off campus interviews through E-mail and Cell numbers.
7)The Cell is providing information on all advertisements regarding education and employment through notice board.
8)The Cell is conducting guest lectures and workshops through eminent personalities in the related field.
9)The Cell is providing recorded C.D’s on dictionary Spoken English Personality Development, Communications Skills to the students,
