Sri Yerramilli Narayana Murthy college of Education was established by the Sri Yerramilli Narayana Murthy college Management in the year 20007 – 08. Sri YN College of education is situated in the YN College campus on the banks of river vasisita Godavari in a serene atmosphere.
College Working Hours : The college working hours are from 9.00 AM to 4:15 P.M. with 1 hour lunch break.
Amenities of the college : The college is being run successfully by the able and efficient principal with 25 years of administrative experience in college of Education. Qualified Staff as per NCTE norms. Well equipped laboratories for all methodology subjects including psychology laboratory and computer laboratory. Well equipped library with 2000 volumes and 12 Journals on education. Well furnished class rooms Weekly Seminars by experts and Group discussions by students. Special classes for soft skills.
Procedure for admission : 75% of the admissions are made on the basis of the state wide common entrance test and 25% under management quota (with or with out Ed CET).Minimum qualifying examination is any degree (B.A., B.Sc. or B.Com0 from any recognized university with 45% marks in aggrerate.For OBC 5% relaxation in marks and for SC – Minimum pass Required. Methods Offered : Physical Science and Mathematics Biological Science and English and Telugu. Social Studies and English or Telugu Special English and Social Studies.
